The Inaugural SkillsUSA Facilithon in Massachusetts expands the FM Pipeline Team’s reach to 7 states and involved students from technical high schools in Plymouth and Essex. Mary Mills, Massachusetts Facilithon Chapter Champion, corralled judges and organizational details to launch this program, 3 years in the making.
The Facilithon exists to Engage, Enlighten and Energize the next gen of FM through high school student CTSO participation. SkillsUSA Massachusetts director Karen Ward determined that 2021 was a good year to launch this program, based on her relationship with Mary and the programs ability to run online for her FM-oriented high school students.
