What is The Facilithon?
The Facilithon is a competition designed to introduce high school and technical school students with their advisors to careers in Facility Management. The Facilithon competition tests a student’s ability to thrive in a facility management environment through a 50-question common-sense quiz, a 10-minute FM role play, and the FM Challenge, an emergency scenario that the student has to react to immediately. Students that do well in the Facilithon represent excellent future facility management professionals.

It has common-sense multiple-choice questions. Hint- They really help you start to think like facility managers do.
2. Role-Play Scenario
Read a test case scenario and make suggestions based on it

It’s an emergency to scenario to address immediately

How Do I Participate in The Facilithon?
Now, contact one of our Student Coaches with the button below. They can connect you to a local facility manager to talk with and become your Facilithon mentor. They will tell you what they like about their job. They do a lot of different things. See how that person gets to work with virtually everyone, someone’s hero every day.

Qualifying courses and credentials vary with job level and location.
Facilithon competitors may receive awards directly or apply for scholarships for college and junior college studies. Apprenticeships exist as well.
They include Management, Leadership, Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Business, Finance, Real estate, Property management, Communication, Technology and many other site-specific skillsets that you’ll find yourself learning on the job in your environment, as you get to do something different every day.
